How will the unit work with little or no cellular service?
The PATHFINDER GPS collar uses the signal from a satellite to send information to the PATHFINDER app on your smartphone via the GPS Connector. Cellular service is only needed to access Google Maps™ on your phone. If you are going to rural places that will have little to no service, you can plan your trip ahead and download the map via Offline Maps, which the file can be up to 400MB. The GPS works independently from the cellular service on your phone, similar to how Bluetooth will work without cellular service.
